Shake it Up!

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This week we are all about shaker cards….woo hoo, just my style!

I was so excited to make another shaker this week, I didn’t know where to start!!  I knew that spring colors were a must so that guided me to this……

For You shaker becreativewithnicole

Seriously springy, right??  I really love the bold greeting against all the soft colors, really makes it pop!

For you shaker

It all started with the Sale-a-bration set BOTANICALS FOR YOU.  I love the small flowers with the ginormous greeting.  BUT, the greeting was way too big for what I needed, so I used a bit of painters tape to mask off the word “just” so that “for you” would fit just right!

Inside the shaker I placed small punched flowers along with silver and white sequins.  I also added a few flowers to the front of the card to dress it up a bit.  I think I achieved what I was going for, I really see spring when I look at this happy card!  Check out the supply list, I’ve added all the products I used so you can make your own happy spring shaker!

Great idea to only use part of the main sentiment and use it inside the shaker! Love the Color Me Irresistible paper on the front, too. Great card!
