Foxy Friends by becreativewithnicole.com

I sat down with a super fun new bundle and had oodles of fun!  FOXY FRIENDS is a mix and match type of stamp set, you have tons of ways to use it!  To make it even cooler there is a coordinating punch!

Foxy FriendsI did several cards, two of which showcase the coordinating designer paper stack called A LITTLE FOXY.

Foxy Friends becreativewithnicole

My favorite of the three is a penny slider card that couldn’t be more fun!  I designed this one first….by accident!  I had been working on slider cards with the SHOOTING STAR bundle and thought it would be fun to do a FOXY FRIENDS slider too.  The SLIDING STAR FRAMELITS make the process SUPER EASY!  After the slider portion was ready, I stamped a cute skunk and added a few final details.

Foxy Friends

The second card was quite quick and is perfect for giving a little note to someone special.  It’s only 3″x3″ so it would be perfect for using up scraps of designer paper and cardstock.  This time the critter I created was a cute little racoon.  He’s holding a heart to coordinate with the sentiment that I used from last month’s My Paper Pumpkin.

Foxy Friends becreativewithnicole.com

And last but not least, a cute little fox in the forest.  A Soft Sky card base measuring 3″x 6″ forms the background for the scene.  Mint Macaroon grass and trees give the fox a place to hang out.  I went back and forth about the sentiment and finally decided on birthday.  I used the sweet birthday greeting from BALLOON CELEBRATION because of the lovely handwritten script.  It’s delicate and beautiful and stamped in black is a nice contrast to the lighter colors.

Emerald Envy

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This month we are featuring the NEW IN COLORS!!  EMERALD ENVY is this week’s color, so rich and bold!

Lately I’ve been into the new stamp set SITTING HERE.  I normally go for bold, solid stamps, but something about this one called to me!

Sitting Here by becreativewithnicole.com

Isn’t this gorgeous with Emerald Envy as the focus color!!  I coordinated the card base to the porch swing pillows and added a splash of Dapper Denim.

Sitting Here

To add a little interest on the card base, a die cut leaf was tucked under the left side of the focal point.  I like how it both blends and and stands out.

Sitting Here card inside

The inside of the card and envelope coordinate with the card front.  The leaf is carried over, love how simple yet beautiful it is!  The sentiment is heat embossed on black.  One of the sentiments from ROSE WONDER was a perfect compliment to the greeting on the front.

Sitting Here by becreativewithnicole.com

Clean and simple can really be the way to go with a bold color like this.  Even thought SITTING HERE has lots of great stamps to work with, simple has been the way to go for me!

Jar of Love

Clean and simple cards are a favorite of mine…love the open space and crispness!  Today’s card is all that using the new set JAR OF LOVE.

Jar of Love by becreativewithnicole.com

Isn’t this great!  Boldness from the Emerald Envy and Basic Black pop against the softness of the Crumb Cake and White.

Jar of Love becreativewithnicole

Best part, this was EASY to make!  I heat embossed the jar and sentiment in white….that’s it! The thing I spent the longest on was picking a sentiment!  I like all the sentiments from this set, but I ended up using one from FLOWER PATCH.   I love the bold lettering and the statement that it makes, really works for this card!

Jar of Love

The inside is simple as well with a coordinating sentiment from FLOWER PATCH and the leaves stamped in Emerald Envy.  The same leaves are on the envelope as well, you know I love to match!

Jar of Love by becreativewithnicole.com

What a fabulous stamp set!  Did you know JAR OF LOVE can be purchased in a bundle with the coordinating framelits??  You really need to check this one out, so many possibilities!

Sitting Here

After a busy weekend I am so happy to get back to stamping!  Today’s card showcases another new set….SITTING HERE.

Sitting Here by becreativewithnicole.com

Normally I don’t gravitate towards stamps with all the details like this that need colored, but something about this set called to me!  For this card I went super simple with lots of white space.Sitting HereThe porch swing is stamped directly on the paper while the cat and pillow are cut outs.  I didn’t want to mess with masking, so stamping and cutting was the way to go!

Sitting Here inside of card

I kept the inside of the card simple as well with the flower pot in the corner.  I added this same detail to the envelope for continuity.

Sitting Here by becreativewithnicole.com

I’m loving expanding out into areas out of my comfort zone…how about you??

More Biggest Birthday Ever

Saturday I shared a birthday card using the fun new bundle BIGGEST BIRTHDAY EVER.  I loved the card so much I did a second version to show you today.

Biggest Birthday Ever becreativewithnicole.com

I changed up a few of the details to create a new look.  Pop of Pink DSP is still used for the edges, just a different pattern.  This bold stripe is one of my favorites!  I ended up with the cake looking the same, I really love the polka dot layers!  In place of stamping sprinkles all over the front, I pulled out the SPRINKLES PUNCH and added SILVER GLIMMER confetti…love a little bling!!

Biggest Birthday Ever inside of cardI also wanted to share the inside of the card with you.  I used another fun new set called BIRTHDAY BANNERS.  It coordinates beautifully with any of the birthday stamp int he catalog.  I used the candle and fun sentiment to coordinate.

I hope you enjoyed version 2 of my BIGGEST BIRTHDAY EVER card!  You can see the first one HERE.  ALSO, have you signed up for the JUNE MINI SESSION FOR CREATE WITH CONNIE AND MARY??  It’s LIVE now and full of fun!  Visit Create with Connie and Mary to sign up and join us!!

Flirty Flamingo

Welcome to another Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop!  This month we are featuring the NEW IN COLORS!!  FLIRTY FLAMINGO is this week’s color which is quickly becoming a favorite!

I used the new BIGGEST BIRTHDAY EVER Bundle for my card and I have to tell you…..this bundle is TOO.MUCH.FUN!

Biggest Birthday Ever becreativewithnicole

There are endless possibilities for the slice of cake and all the accessories!

Biggest Birthday Ever by becreativewithnicole.com

To showcase FLIRTY FLAMINGO, I kept the colors simple by adding just black and white.  The strips of designer paper along the sides are from the POP OF PINK Specialty DSP.  The stripes add a nice bold touch to the card and makes the pink stand out even more!  The cake itself is all FLIRTY FLAMINGO.  The cute polka dot layers are stamped after the cake was added to the card.  It was easy peasy to line up since the stamps are photopolymer!   The one thing this set doesn’t have it sentiments.  So, I used a nice bold greeting from CONFETTI CELEBRATION. It gave the celebratory look I was going for.  After a few sprinkles (more like a lot!) and sequins the card was done!

Now, let’s get to the good stuff, the supply list so you can make your own BIGGEST BIRTHDAY EVER card.

Places You’ll Go

I’ve been diving head first into all the supplies I just got from the NEW catalog and loving every minute!  I have a simple watercolor card to share today with a fun little set called PLACES YOU’LL GO.

Places You'll Go becreativewithnicole

I used watercolor color paper and heat embossed the globe stand in black.  I added a wash of Island Indigo to the paper before adding in the globe itself.

Places You'll go by becreativewithnicole.com

The globe is heat embossed in white so both it and the colors would stand out against the black stand. Island Indigo and Emerald Envy made the globe come to life. These two colors work well together for a realistic look.

Places You'll Go becreativewithnicole

Keeping with a simple layout, the sentiment was added neatly to the bottom of the card.  I really love all the sentiments in the set, there are lots of other stamp sets that these will go with!

I hope you enjoyed seeing a sample with NEW PRODUCTS, I have more in store for you tomorrow.  Be sure to come back for the Create with Connie and Mary Saturday Blog Hop, we have fabulous new ideas to share!!

Banners for You

There are SO MANY awesome new stamps, I am in creative overload right now!  Too many ideas floating through my head, I can’t focus….lol!!  So today I am showing you a way to re-invent an idea and make it new.  First, let me show you the new stamp set I’m showcasing, BANNERS FOR YOU.

banners for you

This is yet another must have in my long list of items!  This BUNDLE is SO VERSATILE!  Many greeting to work with and banner framelits to match!  Can’t go wrong with this one at all!  Now let’s look at the card I have for you.

Birthday Blooms becreativewithnicole

I used just the banner and sentiments to add a greeting to my BIRTHDAY BLOOMS card.  You may remember I did a similar card HERE that you can check out.  I had a different sentiment on the first one.

Banners for You becreativewithnicole

The flowers are all embossed in black and colored with an aqua painter and ink pads.  The sentiment coordinates beautifully done in Cucumber Crush and Archival Black inks.  The coordinating framelit made it easy to stamp and add this to my card.

Banners for You by becreativewithnicole.com

I kept it simple and just added the banner with SNAIL instead of dimensionals.  It blends perfectly into the card!

How about a lot more ideas with NEW STAMPS from the catalog??  Well, the JUNE MINI SESSION from Create with Connie and Mary is right around the corner!! Yep, we have fresh new ideas for you with all NEW SETS!  Here’s a little sneak peek at what we’ve done.
